About Us
Welcome to your new 18+ gaming and media hub. We started as a group of dads looking for a level-headed gaming crew, but today, we welcome absolutely anyone who fits the vibe. Whether you're looking for reliable teammates for your next heist, a chill voice chat for casual play, or a deep dive into the latest movie theories — you've found your spot.
We're a tight-knit community rooted in GTA Online on PS5 and Red Dead Online, but we play everything — Fortnite, Marvel Rivals, Helldivers 2, No Man's Sky, Fallout 76, Satisfactory, and whatever drops next. Active LFG channels, mature discussions, and a welcoming environment. No drama, just good vibes and great games.
Our Origins
The name "Shenanidads" first appeared in 2014 as a weekly GTA Online playlist organized through the Reddit Dads community. What started as a Sunday night tradition among a handful of dads grew into its own crew, its own identity, and eventually its own Discord and gaming community of over 100 members.

Do I have to be a dad to join?
Not at all! While "gaming" is our origin story and the foundation of our laid-back identity, we welcome anyone (18+) of any gender, background, or skill level. If you bring good vibes and a level-headed attitude, you'll fit right in.
What games do you play?
Our roots are in GTA Online (PS5) and Red Dead Online, but our community plays a massive variety of games together — Fortnite, Marvel Rivals, Helldivers 2, No Man's Sky, Fallout 76, Satisfactory, and more. Whenever a major new multiplayer game drops, you'll find an active group playing it in our Discord.
What is the vibe like?
Relaxed, mature, and drama-free. We prioritize fun, laughs, and pure entertainment over sweaty, toxic competition. Our lobbies are built on creative chaos, hilarious ragdoll physics, and not taking ourselves too seriously.
When are your events?
We host weekly events, headlined by our Sunday Playlist at 9:00 PM ET. These events feature custom team combat (like our signature Sumo and Bowling modes), melee mayhem, and relaxed racing circuits. We also host a biweekly movie club podcast called Absolute Shenema!
How do I join?
